Individual Memberships
Become an advocate for the Texas Hemp Grower’s Association. Get involved on the ground floor with one of the fastest-growing agricultural industries in the nation. THGA is funded through memberships, strategic partnerships, and possible grant opportunities, and your funds and involvement ensure the needs of the industry are heard and met by our nation’s and state’s leaders as together we develop the hemp industry in Texas and across the nation.
Individual Member Benefits
- Lawmaking: As federal, state, and local governments, along with the USDA and TDA, write and revise laws and regulations, THGA aims to ensure that the interests of farmers are advanced through each step of the process.
- Education: THGA gathers and distributes research—and collaborates with public and private researchers—to secure the agronomic, manufacturing, environmental, economic, market, and pharmaceutical knowledge necessary for the successful development of the industry across the state.
- Infrastructure: THGA supports ventures that promote inputs, production, processing, and manufacturing systems that will benefit growers and build stability in the emerging hemp industry. Our efforts in 2020 created 16 new jobs and brought an estimated $4-6 million into the local economy.
- Markets: THGA develops markets for industrial hemp and creates and operates cooperative marketing organizations.
- Communication: THGA is committed to maintaining a positive public image of industrial hemp, sustaining strong working relationships with law enforcement agencies, sharing important information with our hemp growers, and promoting the open flow of information within the industry.
